alaap: The Beginning of Music...invites you to learn Music. Aalaap, a premier institute of music is situated at the heart of the holy city Varanasi, (U.P, India) about 2.5 KM West of river Ganga .The music academy is involved in teaching and training the students of Vocal,Guitar, Bamboo Flute (Bansuri), Violin, Keyboard, Tabla etc. Students from various age group are getting training of north indian classical music as well as semi classical music(Ghazal, Bhajan, Folk) from specialised teacher.The director of the institution is ANURAG MISHRA (Ph.D, M. mus, B. mus from faculty of performing arts, BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY and Sangeet praveen from PRAYAG SANGEET SAMITI Allahabad.)Music training is accompanied with the computer software programme related to rhythms, tonal quality setting. The practice (riyaz) session includes assistance of various commercial computational programmes such as Riyaz Studio etc......
